DG ISI Pays Farewell Call On PM and FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the PM Office on Thursday.

Prime Minister Khan lauded Gen Faiz’s services as the ISI chief and expressed good wishes for him on his appointment as Corps Commander Peshawar.

Gen Faiz also paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad.

The Foreign Minister appreciated his services as DG ISI and expressed his best wishes over his new appointment as Peshawar Corps Commander.

Yesterday, he had met President Dr. Arif Alvi.

On Oct 26, the prime minister notified the appointment of Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum as the new Director-General of the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI). He will take the charge as the new spymaster on Nov 20.

Gen Faiz was appointed as Corps Commander Peshawar and Gen Anjum as the new ISI chief among other appointments announced by the military in a major reshuffle on Oct 6.
