Karachi: Dengue virus on the rise in Karachi as one death reported from it while 94 cases of the virus reported in just one day.
According to Health department Sindh, as many as 97 cases were reported across the province out of which 94 were belonged to Karachi.
Like yesterday, district central of the city the most affected from the virus as 27 cases reported in the last 24 hours. 26 in east, 17 in south, nine in west while two cases each reported in districts of Korangi and Malir,
In the current month as many as 347 cases of dengue have surfaced while the first death of the current year from the virus also reported.
According to details, the virus claimed life of 19-year-old youth named Anis, a resident of Soldier Bazar.
The health experts said that the virus is getting viral across the city while they suggested the citizens to wear full sleeves cloths.
