COVID-19 Caused More Damages To Children’s Education: WB

NEW YORK: The World Bank has said in a report that the outbreak of the coronavirus has caused more damage than expected to children’s education around the world.

According to a foreign news agency, the World Bank in a new report criticized that millions of children are still out of school. According to the report, the proportion of children who will not be able to read and understand plain text by the age of ten can increase up to 70%.

According to the World Bank, children affected by closed schools could lose a total of 17 billion euros in their lives.
