Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz has taken notice of the problems being faced by the farmers of southern Punjab about cultivation of cotton and water scarcity.
In a directive issued on Sunday, the Chief Minister advised Punjab Chief Secretary to take immediate steps to ensure timely cultivation of cotton and alleviate water shortage.
He also sought an implementation report from the CS in this regard.
