Karachi: Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah in wake of a recent increase in petroleum product prices has taken a major decision according to which the petrol quota of all ministers, officers including himself have reduced by 40 percent.
The CM Sindh has issued immediate orders for reducing the petrol quota of all the ministers, officers and himself by 40 percent.
Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Memon in his tweet on social media site twitter said that the CM Sindh owing to recent hike in petroleum products have reduced the quota of the all cabinet members and officers of the Sindh government by 40 percent.

The Minister said that the quota reduction is aimed to bring down expenditures of the provinical government.
The CM Sindh issuing the orders of decreasing the quota said that the burden of the rising prices of petroleum products should not be on provincial government exchequer because burden on the provincial exchequer means burden on the masses.
