China and Saudi Arabia have agreed to expand personnel and cultural exchanges as well people-to-people contacts between the two countries to further strengthen their bilateral ties.
The understanding to this effect was reached during a meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh on Thursday.
During the talks, the Chinese President also agreed to list Saudi Arabia as a destination for group travel.
Earlier on his arrival in Riyadh, the Chinese President Xi Jinping was accorded a warm welcome held by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on behalf of King Salman bin Abdulaziz at the Royal Palace.
