Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated all the party members over extra ordinary performance of the party in the first phase of local bodies elections.
In his twitter message to all the people those have linked to party in any capacity that the people elected peaceful, progressive and prosperous Sindh.

The PPP chairman said that the people have rejected the politics of hatred, divide and politics based on ethinicity.
It is pertinent to mention that the PPP got overwhelming majority in first phase of local bodies elections which was marred by allegations of rigging and violence at large scale in which two peeple were killed and more than 60 persons sustained injuries.
On the other hand, opposition parties even allied pary of the PPP, MQM-P has expressed its reservation on yesterday local bodies elections.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Wasim Akhtar said that our mandate is not being recognised adding that if notice on his point of view not taken then election commission and Sindh government will be responsible for it.
Former mayor said that we don’t want to create rift in the relationships adding that we had the agreement with PPP that we will respect each other mandate.
He said that our mandate is not being recognized and game is being played with our votes.
Waseem Akhtar said that we accept mandate of the PPP and it should recognize our mandate as well while he appealed that our votes not to be steal.
He said that we insisted the ECP that we should be listened adding we had reservations regarding the local bodies elections. He said that we will not allow theft of our mandate while he urged the Sindh government to sit with us resolve the problems.
The Senior leader of MQM-P insisted the ECP to take notice of our reservations adding that it pass any decision after listening our reservations.
He said that we don’t want any bitterness between Hyderabad and Karachi.
He said that as many as 14 parties are not happy over what had happened on the first phase of local bodies elections yesterday.
He said that clashes reported during the polling, one person lost life while the electoral staff also made hostage yesterday as well while mismanagement also witnessed on many places.
Waseem Akhtar said that other provinces are heading forward while SIndh is affecting badly.
