Peshawar: Awami National Party (ANP) senior leader Ghulam Ahmed Bilour has refused to admit his defeat in the by-elections at National Assembly constituency NA-31 against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan.
The Senior ANP leader said in his statement that Imran Khan popularity is on decline. He said that the coalition partners supported him as per with their capacity.
Bilour claimed that the PTI ruled provincial government has gotten him defeated while keeping on his claims against the KP government he said that the government machinery used against us very much.
He claimed that the KP government has deployed its people inside and outside of the polling stations.
The ANP leader said that he will approach high court or the ECP after consultations.
Earlier, PTI chief Imran Khan has won the by-elections on NA-31 in Peshawar. as he got 59972 votes in total 265 polling stations set-up in the constituency.
On the other hand, Opponent and senior politician from Awami National Party (ANP) Ghulam Ahmed Bilour begged 34,724 votes.
