KARACHI: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has asserted that Pakistan has emerged victorious over India in the global battle of narratives.
Speaking at a public rally in Karachi, Bilawal explained that, following the Prime Minister’s instructions, he traveled to several countries including the US, Europe, and Brussels to promote Pakistan’s perspective on the international stage. He remarked, “We demonstrated during the conflict that despite India being seven times larger, our air force and military forces effectively responded, and we take pride in that achievement.”
Bilawal further stated that after facing military setbacks, India attempted to sway international opinion diplomatically, but Pakistan successfully countered those efforts as well. He emphasized that Pakistan advocates for truth, whereas India relies heavily on misinformation. “Our leaders—Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, and Asif Zardari—have always championed the Kashmir cause,” he added.
The PPP leader also criticized PTI’s founder for his weak response during the Kashmir crisis, recalling, “When India attacked Kashmir, he merely said in the assembly, ‘What can I do?’”Bilawal accused India of threatening Pakistan’s water rights by breaching the Indus Waters Treaty. “If India tries to divert Sindh’s water, we are prepared to fight another war and control all six rivers,” he warned.
He also directed a warning at political rivals, calling them “political orphans,” and predicted their defeat in the upcoming elections. In conclusion, Bilawal praised Pakistan’s armed forces and accused India of spending billions worldwide to tarnish Pakistan’s reputation as a terrorist state—a challenge that Pakistan has effectively met and countered
