ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar met with Azhar Memon, a highly educated young man from Sindh who is currently unemployed, and assured him of assistance in securing employment.
Azhar Memon, a resident of Khairpur and an MBA graduate from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, garnered public attention after a video showcasing his hardships went viral on social media platforms.
Sharing a clip of the meeting on X, Tarar showed a gesture of respect by inviting Azhar to sit in his seat. The moment was emotional, with Azhar appearing visibly touched. During the encounter, he expressed his gratitude and described the occasion as profoundly meaningful.
In his statement on X, Tarar reflected on the emotional nature of meeting Azhar Memon, emphasizing his admiration for the young man’s dedication and academic achievements. He acknowledged that Azhar’s viral video, in which he narrated his journey and struggles, had resonated with many people.
Tarar assured Azhar that efforts would be made to help him find suitable employment and encouraged him to remain hopeful. Azhar, who completed his MBA from IBA Karachi in 2003—one of Pakistan’s most esteemed institutions—shared that despite his qualifications, he has faced considerable challenges in life, often resorting to modest jobs to support himself.
