Abbasi Demands Publishing Threatening Letter In Newspapers

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that if any country threatens Pakistan then we should respond to that country.

Speaking in Karachi News’ program Tonight With Fereeha, the former prime minister said that if the threatening letter was important, so why did they take it to the National Security Committee three weeks later? On January 1, 2018, the then US President Trump tweeted and the PML-N government responded to him within three hours by summoning the NSC meeting. Brandhsing letter in the public gathering is not sovernighty.

He said that foreign diplomats have meetings with everyone including government and opposition. Our diplomats also meet everyone. Today’s opposition is the government of the future, therefore everyone meets. This is not an external conspiracy, this is a conspiracy of the Pakistani people who are fed up with the Prime Minister Imran Khan. Niazi sahab raised the issue of letter once he he was sure that time is over now.

On the question of withdrawing the no-confidence motion, he said that there was a way to end the no-confidence motion. This vote will be a victory of honor.

He also demanded to publish the threatening letter in the newspapers.
