Islamabad: Prime Minister adviser on business and trade Abdul Razzaq has said that seventh reformative plan for ease in the businesses will promote investment in the country.
Addressing a ceremony on issuance of the seventh reformative plan in Islamabad, the PM adviser said that the government immediately started work on improvement in the economy just after assuming the power which resulted into better business environment while it also restore confidence of the business community.
Abdul Razzaq Dawood said that the country’s industries are going towards growth adding that the import is a challenge for our economy.
He said that overseas chamber in its report of ease in doing business report for Pakistan apprised that business environment and investors confidence increased by 75 percent in the country.
Country’s export, import, trade deficit and other economic indicators are in right direction. He further apprised that services and IT exports increased by 47 percent, he added.
The adviser said that we set target of 32 billion dollar for this year and express confidence that we will achieve the target.
He also said that the government has focused on reducing duties on raw material and tax reforms.
