4.8 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Quetta

QUETTA: An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 occurred, 56 km northeast of Quetta, Balochistan.


The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter near Quetta in the morning on Saturday, December 25th, 2021, at 11:39 am local time.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.


The people came out of their houses by reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba.
